Our memberships are designed to support artists and creatives at every stage of their journey, providing opportunities to develop their practice, connect with others, share ideas and contribute to a thriving cultural community.

As a member, you’ll become part of an artist-led organisation that believes creativity should be accessible, welcoming and rooted in community. Through exhibitions, workshops, open studios, networking events, artist talks and collaborative projects, we create opportunities for people to learn, make, exhibit and grow together.

Every membership directly supports our wider community mission. As a not-for-profit organisation, membership income helps us maintain affordable creative spaces, deliver community arts programmes, provide low-cost public events, support emerging artists and opportunities for people who may face barriers to engaging with the arts.

By becoming a member, you’re not simply joining a workspace or studio, you’re helping to build a vibrant, inclusive and sustainable creative community where artists, makers and local residents can connect, collaborate and create together.

Our memberships are designed to be flexible, accessible, and genuinely useful—whether you’re just starting out, building a creative practice, or looking for a space to connect with others.

At The Stoneleigh Arms, we recognise that there’s no single way to be an artist or part of a creative community. That’s why we offer a range of membership options that reflect different needs, time commitments, and levels of access—so you can find something that works for you.

From occasional use and community connection, to regular studio access and professional development, our memberships are built to support creativity at every stage. 

Accessible by Design

We are committed to keeping our memberships as accessible as possible.

We offer affordable entry points, as well as subsidised places and bursary-supported access for those on low incomes or facing barriers to the arts. If cost, time, or confidence has held you back from engaging with creative spaces before, we want to change that.

This is a space where you can start where you are—no pressure, no expectations—just the opportunity to make, explore, and be part of something.
