Stoneleigh Arms Ceramics Studio — Memberships & Benefits
Our ceramics studio memberships are designed to support everyone from enthusiastic beginners to experienced makers. Members enjoy flexible access, a welcoming creative community, and the facilities needed to develop their practice.
All memberships require a studio induction before first use.
Open Access Ceramics Membership
£60 per month
For independent makers who want regular access and bring their own materials.
For independent makers who want regular access and bring their own materials.
Access & use
- studio access 8am–11pm
- up to 20 hours per week
- use of pottery wheels (outside class times)
- shared hand-building tables and communal tools
Storage & firing
- personal storage space for work in progress
- 1–2 kiln firings per month included (fair-use policy)
- additional firings available at discounted member rates
Members provide
- their own clay
- their own glazes and consumables
Ideal for: hobbyists, returning makers, and those comfortable working independently.
Studio Plus Ceramics Membership
£95 per month
For makers who want regular access with more kiln use and access to studio glazes.
Everything in Open Access, plus:
- increased firing allowance
- access to house glazes
- priority booking at busy periods
- member discount on selected workshops and courses
Members provide
- their own clay (approved types only)
Ideal for: developing ceramicists producing work more regularly.
All-Inclusive Ceramics Membership
£135 per month
For makers who want a simple, fully supported option with most materials included.
Everything in Studio Plus, plus:
- clay allowance included (fair-use)
- house glazes included
- generous monthly firing allowance
- discounted rates on additional firings
- invitation to members’ exhibitions and markets
- opportunities to progress into teaching or mentoring roles
Ideal for: committed makers and emerging professional ceramicists.
All members also benefit from

Important notes
- studio induction and health & safety briefing are required
- memberships are for independent practice, not taught sessions
- beginners are encouraged to complete an Intro to Ceramics course before joining
- fair-use policies apply to clay and firing allowances
- wheels may be unavailable during classes and workshops
