Pottery Throwing Taster | Friday 18th September

Not sure if pottery is for you? Why not come along to our relaxed wheel throwing Taster morning?

The session will start with a demonstration of the core techniques before it's your turn to sit at the wheel and have a go. There'll be time to create your own pot, with Jeanette on hand throughout to offer guidance and encouragement. 

Your piece will then be bisque fired at a later date, and we'll let you know when it's ready to collect. If you'd like to take it one step further, you can also come back for a clear glazing session for an additional cost.

Hosted by Jeanette Sheppard who is an artist and ceramicist, creating small batch pottery and one-off pieces in her garden studio. Her warm and friendly approach will help you to begin to build creative confidence at the wheel.
