Pottery Throwing Taster | Friday 15th January

Not sure if pottery is for you? Why not come along to our relaxed wheel throwing taster session.

This 2.5 hour session will start with a demonstration of the core techniques before it's your turn to sit at the wheel and have a go. There'll be time to create your own pot, with Jeanette on hand throughout to offer guidance and encouragement. 

Your piece will then be bisque fired at a later date, and we'll let you know when it's ready to collect. If you'd like to take it one step further, you can also come back for a clear glazing session for an additional cost.

Hosted by Jeanette Sheppard, an artist and ceramicist who creates small-batch pottery and one-off pieces in her garden studio. Her sessions offer a welcoming and relaxed space to help you develop confidence on the wheel.

Please note: Space on the course is limited to 5 people to ensure plenty of 1-on-1 guidance, however, this workshop requires a minimum of 3 participants to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, you will be notified well in advance and offered a full refund or a transfer to a future date.
