Emotive and Free Flowing Oil Painting Workshop - Paint a Mountain

Alex will create a painting alongside you guiding you where you need it but also encouraging you to trust your own intuition. This is as much about the experience in the moment as the end piece. You’ll explore different techniques and tools for mark making and creating texture along with a healthy dose of Alex’s ‘rules are there to be ignored’ ethos. Alex provides all the materials—all you need to do is show up with an open mind and wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy. By the end of the session, you’ll have a finished canvas painting to call your own. Alex will then keep your artwork safe until it is fully dry (usually about two weeks), adding all the necessary hanging fixtures so it’s ready to be gifted or displayed proudly the moment you collect it.
