Beginners Pottery Throwing Sundays | Sun 5 July

📍 Stoneleigh Arms Arts Space, Leamington Spa

Come along and discover the joy of the potter's wheel in this relaxed, hands-on three-hour session. Perfect for beginners, you'll be guided step-by-step through the essential techniques of centring clay and throwing your very first pot.

Once you've shaped your piece, you'll have time to decorate your work with coloured slips and make it uniquely yours.

Your finished pots will be professionally glazed after the session and they will be ready for collection soon after—giving you a lasting reminder of your time at the wheel.

Hosted by Jeanette Sheppard who is an artist and ceramicist, creating small batch pottery and one-off pieces in her garden studio. Her warm and friendly approach will help you to begin to build creative confidence at the wheel.
