Love putting different colours and textures together?

This workshop will seek to enable you to have a fun time arranging colours and textures.

The workshop is not only about birds but also about their environment and collage provides a means to make an eye catching semi-abstract background.

Bring some of your own discarded old sketches, try-outs, scribbles, doodles, ideas etc, as well as any matt pieces of paper from magazines, catalogues, envelope linings etc. – any colours or textures that catches your eye. It is important that all papers are matt.

First we will experiment with making patterns and textures, and generally making a mess!

Then we can begin to play around cutting and tearing and putting things together. All materials, as well as bird templates provided. Suitable for all, at the end of the day you will have a collage to take home.
