Emotive & Free Flowing Oil Painting Workshop - Saturday 20th February

A small intimate workshop to explore abstract oil painting

Create an oil painting following your intuition and emotion. This is about letting go, painting in the moment and seeing what you create. Alex will guide you in different techniques and use of tools for mark making and creating texture along with Alex's ethos of 'there are no wrong answers'.

This workshop is suitable for beginners, artists wanting to try oils or anyone who wants to explore a 'lets see what happens' approach to painting.

Alex provides all the materials - all you need to do is show up with an open mind and wear clothes you don't mind getting messy. By the end of the session, you'll have a finished canvas painting to call your own. Alex will then keep your artwork safe until it is fully dry (usually about two weeks), adding all the necessary hanging fixtures so it's ready to be gifted or displayed proudly the moment you collect it.
