Dani Szabluk is a Brazilian ceramic artist based in Warwickshire, UK. Her creative journey began long before clay, moving through drawing, painting, illustration, silversmithing, and creativity studies. With a background in Graphic Design, she brings a strong sense of composition, visual storytelling, colour, and form into her ceramic practice.
Working mainly through handbuilt ceramics, Dani creates figurative sculptures that explore emotion, femininity, instinct, transformation, and inner landscapes. She treats each sculpture as both form and canvas, combining sculptural presence with painterly surfaces, airbrushed colour transitions, symbolic marks, and occasional mixed materials.
Her Brazilian roots deeply influence her use of colour, bringing vibrancy, warmth, contrast, and emotional intensity to the surface of her pieces. Her work often draws on natural and emotional imagery — clouds, lightning, sunsets, flowers, feathers, stars, and rain — as ways to make invisible feelings visible. Through clay, colour, and storytelling, Dani creates pieces that are layered, expressive, and deeply connected to the complexity of human emotion.
