Maddie Webb

Founding Director
Artist. Cultural Producer. Visionary

I founded Lighthaus Arts because I wanted to create the kind of place I’d spent years wishing existed; a permanent creative home where artists could flourish and where everyone, regardless of experience or background, felt welcome to take part.

I’m a practising contemporary fine artist based in Leamington Spa working primarily in painting. Alongside my artistic practice, I’ve spent more than twenty years working across arts education, cultural programming, artist mentoring, and community engagement, designing projects that place creativity at the heart of everyday life.

My work has always been driven by the belief that the arts should never feel exclusive. Whether someone is exhibiting internationally, picking up a paintbrush for the first time, or simply curious enough to step through our doors, they deserve to feel that this space belongs to them.

As Founding Director, I lead the strategic vision of Lighthaus Arts, overseeing organisational development, partnerships, fundraising, finance, exhibitions, artist programmes, and public programming while continuing to develop my own artistic practice.
