What if creativity wasn’t something you only did occasionally, but something that became part of everyday life?
The Artful Habit is a six-week creative programme designed to help you reconnect with creativity and develop a sustainable artistic practice.
Course dates:
Wednesdays 6:30–9:00
- 6 May
- 13 May
- 20 May
— Half term break — - 3 June
- 10 June
- 17 June
Rather than focusing on a single technique, the programme explores creativity as a habit — a way of seeing, thinking and making that can become part of everyday life. Through guided studio sessions, sketchbook experiments, creative prompts, outdoor exploration and guest artist talks, participants will discover new ways of observing, experimenting and developing ideas.
Working across drawing, mixed media and visual exploration, the course encourages curiosity, experimentation and personal expression in a relaxed studio environment.
Sessions take place at The Stoneleigh Arms Arts Space, an artist-led creative hub in South Leamington. The programme will also include opportunities to work outdoors, responding to the surrounding environment and architecture.
Participants will receive a starter creative pack and will be supported throughout the programme to develop their own ideas and creative direction.
The programme concludes with a small celebratory showcase, where participants can share work created during the course.
Whether you’re completely new to making, returning to creativity after a break, or simply curious to explore new ideas, The Artful Habit offers a welcoming space to experiment, connect and create.
No prior experience is required.
