COMMON GROUND: A Family Drawing Workshop
Family fun in this playful drawing workshopAbout this experience
Inspired by Wassily Kandinsky, families begin by drawing lines together on a shared surface. From these lines, shapes naturally appear, ready to be coloured and developed in individual ways. The artwork becomes a playful visual metaphor for common ground: a shared starting point with lots of different creative responses.
There’s no plan for the final image. Instead, each piece grows through overlap, reaction and working side by side, celebrating how many ideas can live together in one artwork.
